Don’t let your skin suffer from the ravages of the Arctic Polar Vortex- protect your hands & body with NEW PHB 2-IN-1 Hand and Body Moisturiser with Mango and Shea Butter.

Here at What’s New Health & Beauty Reviews we’re big fans of PHB Ethical Beauty’s products, and my first reaction to their NEW scent free (the product is free from essential oils & artificial fragrance – perfect for very sensitive, new mums & babies) 2-in-1 150 ml hand & body moisturiser was –

“Wow, this feels like silk and satin all in one!!”

Before I’d even got the top off, I wanted to give it 5*, purely because PHB tick so many boxes for me:

  • PET Squeeze Bottle (100% recyclable);
  • Hand made (with love ?) in the UK;
  • Family run company;
  • Not tested on animals;
  • Alcohol free and Halal certified;
  • Organic ingredients;
  • 20% of profits go to charity;
  • 100% vegan company;
  • Palm oil free, eco-friendly;
  • Award winner for ethical sourcing.

The blurb on the website reads as follows – “Feed your skin the nourishment it craves with our 2-in-1 Hand & Body Moisturiser. This no-nonsense moisturiser keeps it simple with a pure yet powerful blend of Mango & Shea Butter combined with Apricot & Pumpkin Seed. These skin superfoods deliver essential nutrients & vitamins that keep your skin healthy & hydrated. The easily absorbed formula sinks deep into skin where it softens & re-texturises for softer skin that glows.”

But, do these claims stack up? …. 100% they do!!!!

The texture is just gorgeous!

It’s fantastic for protecting your hands (and as we found out, your body) from becoming dry, rough and sore. Just massage a little into your clean hands each time before going out (into the garden for example) and after washing, or indeed at any time, and as often as you want.

On application it sat on my (clean) skin for just a whisker, then after massaging in small circular motions, it was utterly absorbed. I found I only needed a small amount each time I used it so the 150ml tube will last a while.

Yes, it’s not the cheapest product out there, but a little certainly goes a very long way, with the product smoothing in well, and it doesn’t leave an oily residue.

Ingredients are listed as – Aqua, Aloe barbadensis** (Organic Aloe Vera), Helianthus annuus** (Organic Sunflower), Butyrospermum parkii** (Organic Shea Butter), Cetearyl alcohol*, Stearic acid*, Cetyl alcohol, Vegetable glycerin**, Mangifera Indica** (Organic Mango Seed Butter), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot Oil), Phenethyl alcohol & Caprylyl Glycol, Glyceryl stearate, Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin Seed Oil), Coco glucoside, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Phytic acid, Sodium Bicarbonate. *Organic, **Certified Organic.

I have very sensitive skin and found it entirely suitable (NB for external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Patch test before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children).

So what are you waiting for?

Go on … get nourishing that rough and dry skin!
